The kids had a brief lesson on how the orchard is operated and the proper way to pick an apple (to protect the tree you should twist and pull not just pull). Earlier we had taken a day trip here - a gift from Aunt Marnie - four day tickets for $20 - unheard of! It was so much fun we jumped at the chance to go again when Bama offered - this time daddy would get to experience it and we would get to sleep over!
