AKP Bead Journal Project. Saturday, December 12, 2009. Following the Inspiration: Part 3. Part 3: Playing with Details. It would appear that I am not the only BJPer who has discovered Zentangles and is considering using them for the 2010 BJP. A shout out to Robbie. Who has been experimenting with zentangles as well and has already combined them with her quilting, very cool. My first couple of Zentangles. Has some on her blog and there are also ones that you can find elsewhere online including YouTube.

Artistic Kreations and Passions: June 2011
http://angelaplager.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Artistic Kreations and Passions. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Some of the pieces that were considered for the Victorian Suite. This blog is very overdue, Artbeads.com. Cameos, filigrees, pearls and beads from Artbeads.com. I always find the biggest challenge figuring out what cool stuff I should try each time. What will work with my idea best? What sizes of beads, findings or other goodies will help flesh out my vision? What colors and how many do I need? I knew that I HAD to have it for this suite of jewel...

Artistic Kreations and Passions: May 2011
http://angelaplager.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Artistic Kreations and Passions. Thursday, May 19, 2011. Iris Backsplash: In the Beginning. I used mastic (tile glue) to glue down all of the metal and glass tiles. If you look closely at the top center you can see where I ran 2 short of the blue tile. Something else will be added there later. Wow, I ended up with a 7 pound box that was mostly seed beads for my mosaic and the big question was; would this be enough? Links to this post. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. As I got ready to start blogging about my newes...

Artistic Kreations and Passions: Victorian Suite: Poem
http://angelaplager.blogspot.com/2011/07/victorian-suite-poem.html
Artistic Kreations and Passions. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. For this suite of jewelry I decided to write a poem following the technique that Robin Atkins. An amazingly talented beader and friend teaches in her One Bead at a Time book (which you can download for free from her website. It can be really interesting to see what comes from this especially if you don't try to over think it. Here is my poem for my Victorian Suite set of jewelry. I am Victorian Suite. I am all things feminine,. Flowers and spirals,.

AKP Bead Journal Project. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. More Love and Irises. I am still behind but I finally got some time spent working on my May block. Artistic Kreations and Passions: Out of the Dirt Grow Iris
http://angelaplager.blogspot.com/2011/09/out-of-dirt-grow-iris.html
Artistic Kreations and Passions. Thursday, September 1, 2011. Out of the Dirt Grow Iris. Those Iris need some dirt to grow in. A bit of a closer look at the dirt. Beading the dirt took 9 1/2 hours. I was pretty impressed as it seemed to go fairly quickly. When I was at Wire Fest. The other side of the dirt, shades of browns and blacks to coppers. Blues and purple beads for the Iris. My first Iris completed. When doing the Iris I started all of them by doing the yellow throats first and then did a few of ...

AKP Bead Journal Project: Following the Inspiration: Part 4
http://angelaplagerbjp.blogspot.com/2010/01/following-inspiration-part-4.html
AKP Bead Journal Project. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Following the Inspiration: Part 4. Part 4: Quotes, going larger. I have always enjoyed quotes and have occasionally used them in pieces of art or inspiration for a piece of art. In Sandy Steen Bartholomew. 8217;s article in Cloth, Paper, Scissors. She used words and journalling with her zentangles. If I was going to include quotes then I would want a larger format to explore this more. So where do I start? Which quote do I choose? I also let the lyric...
