Dave Carter's Blog. Evangelical Christianity and Palestine. Recovering Evangelicalism – Seeking a Justice-based peace in the Middle East –. Evangelical Christianity and Palestine. The plight of Jews and Christian complicity in their persecution over hundreds of years in Europe surely could not justify handing over the land of Palestine, occupied by 1.5 million Palestinians to 600,000 Jews; could it? My first question was simply, ‘what about the Cross? Evangelical Christianity and Palestine" (4). I hope a...

A Practical Solution | To HIM be the glory!
https://midbaryehuda.wordpress.com/2013/01/28/a-practical-solution
To HIM be the glory! Faith, politics, finances – whatever happens, to HIM be the glory! Would you like a cup of coffee? We are betrothed to God. January 28, 2013. This analysis by Calev Myers is one of the best I’ve read on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This practical solution is feasible, practical, and reasonable. Bishops and politics | Nick Baines's Blog
https://nickbaines.wordpress.com/2015/02/17/bishops-and-politics
Nick Baines's Blog. Musings of a restless bishop. February 17, 2015. Posted by nickbaines under politics. This morning the BBC. Programme brought together a bishop and a politician to discuss the pastoral letter to be published later today by the House of Bishops. The Daily Telegraph and others tell the bishops to stay out of politics because they are “left-leaning”. And, pace the Telegraph, if bishops and other Christians are to keep out of politics, who else is to be excluded? Verily, the mind boggleth.

Newspaper in which she called migrants on the Mediterranean “cockroaches”. The Sun saw fit to publish this. She would prefer to send gunships to desperate migrants rather than rescue ships. Which editor at the Sun thought this would be acceptable in a newspaper? And what responsibility does the Sun take? How do ...

Dave Carter's Blog. Evangelical Christianity and Palestine. Recovering Evangelicalism – Seeking a Justice-based peace in the Middle East –. What we voted for and what we’ll get. May 9, 2015. What we get with ‘first past the post’ in a multi-party democracy is – division. David Cameron has claimed he will ‘govern for all the people’, well is that true? 6 out of 10 voters cast votes against austerity (which many commentators regard as unnecessary and likely to extend the recession). What will we get? In Me...
