Food-ography: a nice breakfast

http://meganklugh.blogspot.com/2010/02/nice-breakfast.html

Sunday, February 21, 2010. About two weeks ago someone in our household had a birthday, and requested this breakfast. Well actually, I didn't know it was going to be breakfast - we arrived at lunch time and ate what they made - which happened to be brunch. And it turned out to be amazing: french toast with pecan butter and fresh fruit (and a mimosa for the birthday girl). The thing I love about this restaurant. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Food-ography: November 2008

http://meganklugh.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 29, 2008. Mashed potatoes are a traditional side dish at the holidays, and are very easy to transport. There are many different types of potatoes and ingredients you can incorporate, so try different variations. These are dairy free (no regular milk or butter), but feel free to add those. This recipe makes enough for about 10-12 people. 12-14 yukon gold potatoes. 2 small bunches of scallions. About 3/4 cup rice milk (or regular milk). Salt and pepper to taste. Sour creme instead of milk.

Sunday, January 3, 2010. Well The holidays have come to a close. I - as you might have guessed - love to eat, and love the food that the holiday season brings. Cookies with raisins and sugar or mint and chocolate. Homemade jars of caramel corn or pickles. Turkey sticks and whoopie pies from the Lancaster farmers market. One package of fresh cranberries (about 12 oz). 3/4 to 1 cup water. 3 -4 pears - (I used D-Anju). 1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). You can also find her on facebook.

Carrot Soup Recipe - 101 Cookbooks

http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/carrot-soup-recipe.html

Cooking with Natural Foods. Favorite Fats and Oils. April 8, 2009. 124; 96 Comments. As many of you already know, I'm not one for making more work than necessary in the kitchen. And as long as we are confessing, I don't usually bother peeling carrots. If they are particularly dirty or have skin thicker or rougher than I like, I just give them a good scrub with the rough side of a sponge. It acts like a loofah, and usually does the trick. 1 1/4 pounds carrots. 2 medium cloves garlic, minced. Olive oil, to...
