Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Day Fifteen: Last Day. It appears that my most dazzlingly Japanese experience was saved for my last day. I wouldn't at all mind owning one now. Going back to London will be in itself a culture shock, but apart from the fifteen hours I will have to spend on two planes, I'm looking forward to going back. Monday, July 16, 2012. Day Fourteen: Full Day in Kyoto. Could I find a spoon? I can now say I have, and it isn't easy. Tomorrow will be my last day in Japan - where did it all go?

Monday, July 2, 2012. Day Two: First full day in Seoul. Oh, why do I do it to myself? In retrospect I was somewhat naive to think that the Namsan ORMI Inclined Elevator was in itself the famed cable car, being, as it was, a slanty lift travelling up the steep bank of a main road.
