169 Days in the ROK: July 2011
http://emmainkorea.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
169 Days in the ROK. My six months in South Korea. Sunday, July 31, 2011. Saturday morning, I got up early and got ready for our family trip to the beach. I made a ton of PB&J sandwiches, as well as chobap. We finally left around 1ish, and we took the bus for an hour to the Incheon beach, where we met my host father, who had come early and set up the tent. I could only see a bunch of people way out in the distance where the tide was. The next morning, we woke up and ate, and then it started pouring rain!

169 Days in the ROK: The Dog Cafe
http://emmainkorea.blogspot.com/2011/10/dog-cafe.html
169 Days in the ROK. My six months in South Korea. Sunday, October 23, 2011. So, I did a lot this weekend. But the point that I would like to highlight with this blog post is what I did on Thursday with my friend. We didn’t have school on Thursday and Friday this week, due to incoming Freshmen orientation, so I went home with a friend to Seoul for a few days. She knew that I loved dogs, and she likes dogs too, so we decided to go to this dog café in Myeongdong. They relieve themselves right there in the ...

169 Days in the ROK: September 2011
http://emmainkorea.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
169 Days in the ROK. My six months in South Korea. Sunday, September 25, 2011. Since the last update, most of what’s going on here has just been the normal routine of going to school every day. But thanks to my awesome school, every day at school is different and interesting. Last week, one random day they were just like “We don’t have classes for the first 3 hours, we have special activities.”. So we made soap using Sodium Hydroxide and oil. And we also pricked our fingers and tested our blood type.

http://emmainkorea.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
169 Days in the ROK. My six months in South Korea. Saturday, August 27, 2011. The first week of school. The first week of school went by pretty quickly. And I have to say that the week in review was pretty good. But writing about it is difficult, because there is so much that I really don’t even know where to start! So I guess I’ll start with the basics. Yang Eob High School is quite a bit different from traditional Korean high schools. Really, it’s different from every other high school in Korea. The nu...
