Awareness of one’s present thoughts, emotions and actions. When you exercise mindfully your body is at one with your mind, existing and functioning in the now, being absolutely present. Operating in the now, the energy and concentration of the mind is focused on the task at hand. The efficiency of the task is therefore maximized and the results most rewarding. When you are mindful during exercise, you increase the efficiency. Postural alignment is improved as opposed to lost,. Muscle memory is maximised.
