The Exmoor Horner Water 11 will not be held this year. The event starts at Horner Water (SS89803 45453 -198ft) where there is a car park (£2 for 2 Hours or more). Parking is a bit restricted so please come in as few cars as possible. There are public toilets but no other facilities. The start time is 10:30 am. A quick left and right and the route is on a flat ridge (SS89828 43713 – 636ft) for a 100 yards or so which then drops down a seriously narrow, steep, slippery gully strewn with tree roots...

Challenge yourself to Minehead Running Club’s Unique Seaview 17 - This is a tough, run along the South West Coast path from Countisbury to Minehead (about 21 miles). The route is marked and marshalled, but the onus is on you to find your own way. This is one of the most beautiful (and hilly) stretches of Coast path in the country. Conceived by MRC as a unique challenge and charity fundraiser in 2005 this event has so far raised over £7000 for local causes. Hurry places fill up fast.

Click here for older results. Seafront Races - October to March. This is a series of 6 races which take place on the first Wednesday of the months October through to March. The junior races start at 7pm and the senior race at 7.25pm. Individual times and positions are recorded over the series, with the best four to count to establish overall positions by the end of the series. The last race is followed by a prize giving ceremony which recognises all achievements, particularly those of the juniors.

Sunday, 9 August 2015. Before vaulting a gate and climbing to a crossing straight through the centre of a corn field. There was then a short wooded section, divided up by stiles at either end, then a descent to the foot of the only real climb of the course - a lung-bursting, calf-destroying climb that was short, but very steep. Each year we try and donate at least £1,000 to a small local charity, from money raised by our events. We also add to this with money very kindly put into collection boxes at our races and club runs.
