Marazion: The Gateway to St Michael's Mount

Marazion is located on the south coast of Cornwall with fantastic views over the English Channel. The name comes from the Cornish Marghas Byghan. Believed to mean Little Market. The Gateway to St Michael's Mount. St Michael's Mount is set just off the coast of Cornwall and is connected to the mainland by a causeway at Marazion. The Mount is managed by the National Trust, where you can visit the Medieval Castle and Church along with the Victorian underground railway and hanging gardens.

The chalet has been renovated to a very high standard, with fitted kitchen, lounge area (colour TV and Video) upstairs mezzanine sleeping deck and a toilet/ shower room. It is very well heated and is extremely comfortable being fully furnished. The luxury chalet is ideal for two people, but can take up to four quite easily. There are two single beds on the upper mezzanine sleeping deck and a double pull-down bed downstairs. (A blow up bed is available.). We do not accept pets.

Sunday, 9 August 2015. Before vaulting a gate and climbing to a crossing straight through the centre of a corn field. There was then a short wooded section, divided up by stiles at either end, then a descent to the foot of the only real climb of the course - a lung-bursting, calf-destroying climb that was short, but very steep.
