Exploring Chicago one brunch at a time. Monthly Archives: February 2014. Happy Galentine’s Day! February 13, 2014. Brunch #2: Le Peep. Neighborhood: Evanston (so not technically Chicago, but close). Rating: 4.5 sporks. It’s way too early to have found perfection, plus there was no alcohol involved. Did I celebrate a holiday created by a TV show today? Actually please do this! And tell me about it! It was the perfect midday break, and eased the stress of interview season and midterms. In the words of Lesl...

The Bongo Room is thus far my favorite Chicago brunch spot. This episode brought to you by JD and LK. I had been to The Bongo Room. Exploring Chicago one brunch at a time. Happy Galentine’s Day! Let’s Talk About Brunch, Baby. February 8, 2014. Brunch is not just the best meal, it’s also an event. There’s nothing quite as delightful as sleeping in on a weekend morning before meeting friends for carbs and eggs, and of course it makes daydrinking socially acceptable. I am on a constant hunt to find the best brunch joints in Chicago, and recently came across this list. Arrive either before 11 am or after 1 pm. Happy Galentine’s Day!

After teaming up with Mission Broward it has become an honor week by week to serve the youth throughout my community. God had blessed me to see young people that I thought were unreachable give their life to Christ week by week, it's been an amazing experience and it's only the beginning! Little things like this help push me to be the person I am. Life is more meaningful when you realize how much lives are at stake and what power you posses to change those lives for the better.".

the brown family.

Our life's mission starts in our own home. Sunday, November 13, 2011. We enjoyed a late afternoon photo shoot with our good friend Coatesy who photographed our wedding. In September of this year I became very sick, and was ill with a bacteria in my tummy for about 8 weeks. I could not eat much at all, as everytime I ate, I would get severe abdominal cramping, heartburn, and spent alot of time in the bathroom. It was yucky. Praise the Lord for my healing! I'll just keep persevering! How cool is this?

Spring on Lake Michigan is truly glorious, especially after this past winter. The boats are finally out! The answer: bread pudding!

Mission Buenos Aires – Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in Buenos Aires

Introduction to Buenos Aires. Exalt Christ in Buenos Aires, by faithful obedience to His Word, making Him known to all peoples for His glory. Many of us remember earlier days of missions education in the local church, when teaching about missions usually followed the process of, 1) Learn 2) Feel 3) Experience. By getting personally involved in overseas missions, whether by promoting, going, or being an intercessory prayer warrior, you and your church could reap benefits that will affect future generation...
