Accommodation: Copthorne Hotel and Resort Hokianga. In a day book-ended with heavy clouds and showers, we visited Cape Reigna, where the sun shone. Accommodation: Brenton Lodge, Whangamata. Today was a day of driving. Leaving Omapere at 9am, we arrived at Whangamata at about 4pm, having only stopped briefly for lunch. Phew! Oh, and strong winds again! Honeycomb for David and White Strawberry Crumble for Emma - delicious!
