Wednesday, November 6, 2013. This is my favorite time of the year. I love the cooler weather and all of the vibrant colors as the leaves change. We went to a pumpkin patch and had so much fun. We did a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch, where Brinley chose some pumpkins. Then we rode back and went to a little petting zoo and a corn sandbox. Brinley also enjoyed riding in a "barrel train.". Thursday, January 1, 2009. So, I decided to take the jump myself. I hit it dead on, and flew (not like an eagle) flat onto my back/butt area. OUCH! Luckily, Mike took a picture of me right in mid crash. Awesome.thanks, Mike. This is Nate, Sam, and Nattie going off the jump. It looks cool, but Nattie didn't come out of this so well. Monday, September 16, 2013. Bear Lake Reunion 2013. A few weeks ago was my mom's family's annual reunion at Bear Lake. We were able to spend the weekend there and had a fun time. It was full of games, activities, and food. Brinley wasn't as brave as last year, she only stuck her toes in the lake a couple of times. She had a blast with the "sand" though. Mostly Madeline, Isaac and Seth. Tuesday, August 21, 2012. First Day of School for Maddy 2012. So this year at Overlake Elementary, Madeline has Mrs. Orr and she is not excited about it. She calls Mrs. Orr the mean teacher. So in order to help her get excited for the new school year I had a special breakfast. We had chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, oranges and orange juice. Looks like from the stack of books on her desk that she is going to be doing a lot of learning this year!
