At the conference, we got to chose two workshops that we were interested in attending. I chose to attend a workshop on blending personality styles in your classroom and classroom management. The author mentions that webquests allow children to participate in shared experiences with other peers. I agree. This is a wonderful opportunity to pair students together to work collaborativly. Thursday, February 21, 2008. Do you plan on using wikis in your classroom? What are you thoughts on wikis? I created a wiki just to see how it worked and plan to add to it in the future. I like that you are able to add students work and post it on the page. The interactive word wall is a great tool especiialy for students in the primary grades.The wiki can be compared to a portfolio for children and their work. I am torn betwenn the two.
