My Adventures in Africa: Rain
http://myadventuresinafrica.blogspot.com/2009/07/rain.html
My Adventures in Africa. A record of my epic experiences, for your reading pleasure. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. I believe that last night was the full moon, right? I slept in until 6:30. I had to trek through a muddy compound to get to school this morning, and during worship service, it began to pour. It rained off and on the whole day, and during the “off” the sky remained cloudy, with the ugly type of cloud that just dampens your spirits. The weather matches my mood perfectly. 8220;Martin,” I said,...

My Adventures in Africa. A record of my epic experiences, for your reading pleasure. Friday, June 12, 2009. I’ve found a fun way to get the class’s attention when they’re making noise. :). They’re kids. Sometimes the noise volume in my class becomes too high to teach, which frustrates me quite a bit, but now that I’ve found a method of quieting them, life is good. The next thing I know, the twenty-one Ghanaian school children in front of me have one finger to their lips, and all is quiet.

My Adventures in Africa. A record of my epic experiences, for your reading pleasure. Sunday, June 14, 2009. Okay, time to look on the bright side. What can be positive about not having electricity? I’ll tell you. It’s really cute how excited all the nuns are about this new exercise equipment, by the way. They call it their “chingalingy machine.” Haha! 8220;Trojan,” Sister Juliana said, also mispronouncing it slightly, something more like. 8220;W W W dot Trojan dot com.”. My Adventures in Africa. A record of my epic experiences, for your reading pleasure. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. I’m sitting on the sofa in my parents’ living room right now, watching the Angels playing on TV and listening to my sister make music. I did it. I survived three hundred days in West Africa, and returned to tell about it! I’ll write more later, but for now, I haven’t slept in a bed in over forty-eight hours, and I can barely keep my eyes open. July 30, 2009 at 4:00 AM. August 17, 2009 at 9:49 AM.

Adventure Gameblog
Tuesday, 30 June 2015. Someone Always Gets to Them First. Of the original run of Fighting Fantasy. Gamebooks, Keith Martin's Night Dragon. Was the one I played last. It wasn't the last one I acquired - as previously explained. That was Siege of Sardath. But I'd already had a couple of goes at a library copy of Siege. A while before I properly restarted my FF collection. As with most of the last additions to that collection, I got ND on eBay. Mediocre, but it'd be even worse without that rule. Avoiding so...

Adventures In Adulthood | Life, Love, and the Pursuit of a Well-Paying Job
December 4, 2013 · 4:46 pm. My Armpits Hurt and Other Three-Legged Lessons. About a week ago, in the most mundane of circumstances, I dislocated my patella (that’s your knee cap for anyone who didn’t go to medical school) and tore my MCL (that’s the ligament that keeps your shin attached to your knee). Since then I’ve learned quite a few things. A few I already knew and had forgotten, others I wasn’t aware of yet. Some things you learn when life (literally) knocks you down:. 1) Asking for help blows.

The ones provided are either broken or far too big. Take sensible shoes with good tread – that way you have a fighting chance of staying upright in the mud. Adventures in Baking
Monday, November 1, 2010. My Adventures in Baking. Baking is My Passion. My interest in baking began in my home economics class in junior high school. I’m sure that sewing, cleaning, and cooking were part of the curriculum, but baking is what I remember. My favorite memory from that class is baking Buttons and Bowknots. The recipe we used was found in Betty Crocker’s Cookbook. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Adventures in Baking. View my complete profile. Ethereal theme. Powered by Blogger.
