bucaio: Homemade Morón Recipe
http://bucaio.blogspot.com/2009/09/moron-recipe.html
Food to sweeten life. Friday, September 04, 2009. The name of this Waray delicacy has accent on the second syllable, so it doesn't refer to those jerks you don't want to work with in the office. I don't know why it's called thus, but it's probably a local term that doesn't in any way relate to the highly popular English word with Greek origins. Early on in the life of this blog, by a friend who participated in the Lasang Pinoy event I hosted about streetfood. Cooked in homes in the metropolis. Was also s...

bucaio: Patani
http://bucaio.blogspot.com/2011/03/patani.html
Food to sweeten life. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. These fresh beans have been lately appearing in the spread of my. Vegetable vendors, both in Cavite and at the Guadalupe "peripheral" market (along the busy alleys where Ilocanos and Batanguenos sell, and not inside the sprawling official market building). I sometimes come across them still in their pods, and I buy them freshly shelled. Ironically, it is only now that I am regularly eating. Of it, to nourish a group of us, among other things, while enjoying ...

http://bucaio.blogspot.com/2009/04/cakes-that-did-not-make-it-to-list.html
Food to sweeten life. Thursday, April 30, 2009. The Cakes That Did Not Make It To The List. Cake of the Month. When I started this blog I vowed to publish only good reviews and just keep silent on my bad dining experiences, if any. But early on I realized that perspectives change when your choices and selections are made for the purpose of writing about it. I also realized that I cannot cover each and every item that can be categorized under the general topic. So be warned. [Name of the cake is. NonoR...

Memoirs of Aline: Sekitori
http://alineang.blogspot.com/2010/10/sekitori.html
Seizing the day away. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Sekitori means "sumo wrestler who is ranked in one of the top two professional divisions: makuuchi and juryo". Ok, that explains why our order which was suppose to be good for 4-5, fed the 8 of us and with some little left over. Aside from my starter(salmon sashimi) and sake, we just ordered for Kimuchi cyanko broth shabu-shabu. Here, you won't need to DIY the shabu-shabu; the waitress will cook it in front of you. P500 and up per head. Life is a beach.

Seizing the day away. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Princess cruise : Mexican Riviera. One thing that kept me busy was a 7-day cruise to the Mexican Riviera via Sapphire Princess of Princess Cruise. A huge ship that can accommodate up to 2,670 passengers, with an array of swimming pools, lounges and dining areas in addition to a couple of clubs, a library, a theater and a casino. Basically it is a hotel resort in the water but. much much nicer. With professional photographers on board. Links to this post.

Seizing the day away. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Mañana Mexican Cuisine Restaurants. If you are in Boracay and wants some Mexican twist go to Mañana, a hole in the wall restaurant in Station 1 fronting the superb white powdery sand/beach. There is plenty of good food to choose from Taco. Their dish taste buttery but it's good mexican food. Links to this post. Labels: Cuisine - Mexican. Sunday, September 26, 2010. Can't believed I haven't blogged about Caffe Caruso. Ambiance: Romantic/ fine dining feel.

Our second to the last dinner was prepared by Chef - Loreto Bembo, he is one of the head chef in princess cruise. Here's the sample menu given to us:. Amazing, isn't it? Links to this post. Second...
