The gable headdress for the Museum of London. Sep 15th, 2005 at 11:56 AM. It just gets better and better! Today I was asked if a museum photographer could come and get pix of me working on the headdress. Also they would like someone to ask about making a replica and use it for publicity. Hey, that means someone else can do my dress diary with professional photos! Of course, being the shy, retiring sort of person I am it took at least 10 seconds before I replied to the e-mail. Kids coif and shirt pattern - Lady in the Meads
http://sidhe-etain.livejournal.com/253579.html
Kids coif and shirt pattern - Lady in the Meads. Kids coif and shirt pattern. Nov 13th, 2009 03:59 pm. Does anyone know of a good free pattern (I saw a Simplicity pattern) for making a child's fabric chain mail coif and shirt? Or a community where people might know? I've had this mail fabric for years, and I think I might make a shirt and coif for my nephew's Christmas present. 2009-11-13 09:58 pm (UTC). The medieval chain mail coif looks something like this. As there are even simpler patterns on it.

Friday, May 15, 2015. When life throws you lemons, make a hat! Like many people, I was very touched by the recent blog post on Wearing History about Social Media and the Myth of Perfection. Because I too am an extremely private person, and there are just some things that I don't feel comfortable talking about in this very public forum. And I just don't want to talk about sad personal things here - that's what LiveJournal is for! I finished it off by adding 4 feathers that I lightly curled with my curling...

Butterfly Collection Blog - Life in Big Boobs: Bra School: Not all D cups are the same size
http://blog.butterflycollection.ca/2012/05/bra-school-not-all-d-cups-are-same-size.html
Monday, May 21, 2012. Bra School: Not all D cups are the same size. From Left to Right 30D, 32D, 34D, 36D, 38D. Five different band lengths, five different cup volumes. All D Cups. I know that bras can be confusing little minxes. When I try and explain to someone that besides their 34G bra they could also wear a 32GG they look at me with bewilderment. This post aims to give you an easy-to-understand guide to how cup sizes work. What is Sister Sizing? When people talk about sister sizing what they're refe...

Or Sunnys Adventures in Costuming. Further Prick and Pounce Tests. Dec 3rd, 2013 at 11:10 AM. I just finished another paper for Your Wardrobe Unlockd. The bulk of which was testing different pounce and fixatives to use with the prick and pounce technique when applied to dark fabrics. and now Im filled with all sorts of ideas for further tests that ought to be done:. Further Pounces to Test (neither of which were really applicable to dark fabrics):. Blue transfer powder (what is that stuff made of? Anyway...
