Wednesday, October 16, 2013. A couple weeks ago, I was walking my dog at about ten at night. When walking the dog, both my mind and feet tend to wander. I meander about until I realize I've been gone awhile, and then head home. La la la. No big. My neighborhood is perfectly safe, albeit a little odd. Mostly retail and crazy during the day, but totally quiet at night. There are long stretches of limited streetlights and no foot traffic. Deserted, desolate, and words like that. I KNOW. I totally know.

But I wore it almost exactly a week ago, liked it fine, neglected to take a photograph, and filed it in the Future Outfits Folder and voila. Black/cream cardigan with a rosette on the breast $7. You know how sometimes you pass someone on the street and their outfit just so screams of some particular store? I see Chico's a lot - kinda flowy, vaguely ethnic, braided, dangly things. Or Ann Taylor loft. Tailored, matchy, a little boring but with, like, a violet element. Around these parts, I also see a lot of Berkeley Lady. It's not one particular store (maybe Lilith? So we walk in and there was a set of stairs going up and one going down.we went down first and immediately we were hit with a live band performing, tons of people of all ages dancing.mostly salsa dancing.it was such a cool vibe in the room.everyone was there to dance which I loved! It was a full out club upstairs with a bar that lined an entire wall of this huge room and it was filled with lots of people, cool chandeliers and lights, disco ball and such good dancing music!
