http://booklineandsinker.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Book, Line, and Sinker. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. G and I are establishing our Homecoming Traditions. Last Thursday before the parade, my coworkers and I picked him up in the golf cart. We rode to La Hacienda for dinner before the parade. Gavin loves the rice at "La-Ce-Hinda's." He also usually rides the mechanical pony out front for 25 cents. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Each day, the kids have a dress up theme, Monday was easy: red shirt. We have lots of red shirts since G and I love red. Gavin giving...

Book, Line, & Sinker: The Mailman Cometh
http://booklineandsinker.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-mailman-cometh.html
Book, Line, and Sinker. Sunday, July 6, 2014. We discussed and then the question came back to me. While "write" wasn't one of my answers yesterday, I would write. I have LOTS of stories from my career as a high school assistant principal. But, I have lots of stories. I think I'm damn funny at times. Maybe others would find me amusing, too. But I digress . . . How will I return my Netflix DVD so I can get the next one in my queue? Which happens to be Better off Dead. Hmmm that's a Federal offense, right?

Book, Line, & Sinker: April 2013
http://booklineandsinker.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Book, Line, and Sinker. Saturday, April 6, 2013. Another quick post about our Easter activities. Gavin has become quite the egg hunter this year. Last year he wanted to open up each one before looking for another. But he has now perfected his technique. He LOVED getting packages from both grandmas. He wants to check the mail every day now to see if he has gotten a package. We are way way behind on our blogging, so here are some picture from what we (and mostly what Gavin) has been up to lately.

Book, Line, & Sinker: September 2012
http://booklineandsinker.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Book, Line, and Sinker. Sunday, September 30, 2012. Yes, we've neglected the blog. It's been crazy to say the least. Dave's trying to juggle work and school and being a dad and being a husband. It's no easy task. I'm doing about 1/3 of additional work because we're missing an assistant principal. I took a minute tonight to look for a post I started a while back. When I found this. Book, Line, & Sinker: May 2012
http://booklineandsinker.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Book, Line, and Sinker. Monday, May 28, 2012. Dave and I were struck each place that we visited by the attention to detail and the age of the buildings. We were also saddened by all of the graffiti we saw. Each city's principal church is called "Il Duomo." Milan's Duomo is impressive. A concert was being held in the piazza at the church. After window shopping a bit, I headed back to the piazza at Il Duomo, where I purchased my first of many cups of gelato to eat while I waited for Dave to finish his work.

Book, Line, & Sinker: January 2012
http://booklineandsinker.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Book, Line, and Sinker. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Thank Goodness for Glenda. Glenda came to the rescue again last night. I had Open House; Dave had class. Gavin spent the evening with Glenda and Bill. Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Gavin is quite enamored with music, which makes me happy. I sing to him a lot; he sings at school. He has picked up many songs and now he's making his own songs. It is a sweet serenade. Sunday, January 15, 2012. Friday about 3:15, I got a phone call from the director, Ms. M...
