Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Family, Food and Fireworks. I think we've started a tradition with mom and dad. They like to come visit over July 4th and do 4th of July festivities with us and our friends. The parade was so much fun. After it was over we all went home to get some rest, go for a swim then a cookout with the Henson's at our house. To be followed by some late night fireworks. 4th of July was a blast and loved spending it with friends and family. Can't wait for next year! Happy Dad's Day 2013.

Thursday, November 22, 2012. So for the first time EVER in 35 years I had Thanksgiving without my parents. I cooked everything by myself and it was delicious! While I enjoyed being with my family I really missed Mom and Dad too. The kids even said, "Mommy the food tastes like Thanksgiving but it doesn't fee like it without Grandma and Grandpa." Break my heart why don't they. Emmy helping me make pumpkin pies. Heading out for Tyson's first 5K run at 7 am. And I couldn't be more proud! CT Music program 2012.

Sunday, October 28, 2012. Here is Buddy lined up for his first swim, the 25 meter backstroke. About to swim the 50 bs. Walking out for the freestyle. We were sitting above him and as he was walking out to lane 8, which happened to be where we were sitting we all screamed "go Tyson! He looked mortified. The daily happenings of Ryan and Drew .and a little about their parents too. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Tough Mudder and Glow Run. We did our third Tough Mudder with friends in Mesa, AZ. This time we decided to stay a couple of days later to relax and enjoy the Boulders. The whole trip was blast.even the 12 miles of running through mud and doing 21 obstacles. Checking into the Boulders in our Mudder headbands. Cleaned up and heading to dinner. Our view at the pool. 400 later it was a great day by the pool.

He got to celebrate with his friends at school before T-giving break and then with the family on his actual birthday and then had a party on Sunday. Today when I was taking him to school he asked if he could have his birthday again at school. He was a little disappointed when I told him it was over and he had to wait until next year.
