My Slice of Paradise. Vacation. Not for this gal! So people all around me are always taking vacation. So what do I do? I plan a staycation! After a few years of no extended time off work I was overdue. And looking forward to the time at home. I get my time booked off and start my planning. The list I have created for myself was much longer than I was expecting. Finish cleaning out the junk left in the yard (I had started this a couple weeks prior). Tear off back section of the deck. My Slice of Paradise. With the new year comes new Commitments for me. Part of that commitment is making sure I get outside and enjoy the outdoors regardless of the weather! I'm not made of sugar even if sometimes I think I am. So with this in mind I drag my sloth like body off the couch grab a coffee and start to pack up all the items I wanted to try on the trail today. We were dropped off the hay wagon knowing we only had about 20 minutes to find a tree, the girls took the job seriously and found one quickly. Milo approved of the tree choice and decided to sit still for a second so I could capture a picture of them all with the tree. Then hubby got to work and cut it down.
