Tuesday, 27 September 2016. From the Weaver up Heartbreak Hill and Harecastle Tunnel to the Caldon Canal. Tuesday 27 September Leek. Monday 26 September through Cheddleton and Hazlehurst Junction to Leek. Showers greeted us, so we wrote diary and blog before setting out in cool, damp, overcast weather. Sunday 25 September Consall Forge and Froghall, returning to near Cheddleton. Saturday 24 September Cheddleton, Churnet Valley Railway and the Black Lion, Consall Forge. Barnet is based at Norton Canes Docks on the Cannock Extension. The boat is currently undergoing restoration back to working condition by Canalscape-BCN. A blog about my 70' Narrowboat Sirius and anything related to Narrowboats. Monday, July 05, 2010. Sirius is finally back home again! I have finally managed to bring Sirius back to Berkshire after being moored for almost a year in and around London on the River Lee, Regents Canal, Grand Union Canal and of course the Thames.
