Narrowboat Escapology Narrowboat Escapology: Weaver Trip - Day 4
http://narrowboatescapology.blogspot.com/2012/09/weaver-trip-day-4.html
This is the Blog of Narrowboat Escapology and that of her crew/owners Paul and Elaine. Friday, 14 September 2012. Weaver Trip - Day 4. Monday 28th May 2012. A very early alarm at 6.30am! A quick bowl of cereal for breakfast so we could move off up to Harecastle Tunnel portal as early as possible. We were keen to cruise as far as we could each day on this first part of the trip, up to Middlewich, as this we were cruising over well cruised ground and the new waters of the Weaver were waiting for us. We fin...

This is the Blog of Narrowboat Escapology and that of her crew/owners Paul and Elaine. Friday, 14 September 2012. Weaver Trip - Day 7. Thursday 31st May 2012. Left our moorings under a threatening sky and shared the first two locks with another two boats that were rafted together. We then moored in Northwich as it began to rain very heavily. It was pouring with rain but this didn't dampen Elaine's spirit to visit Marks and Spencer! Moored below Dutton Lock. Posted using BlogPress from my iPad. Posted by ...

This is the Blog of Narrowboat Escapology and that of her crew/owners Paul and Elaine. Thursday, 24 May 2012. Saturday 19th May 2012 to Sunday 20th May 2912. An early start from home on Saturday in order to get to Great Haywood in good time for a good cleaning and preparation session before our first proper cruise of the year next weekend. The devastating scene of our local shops on fire! I even changed the drivebelt on the power pack although I did cut my thumb! We travelled back home Sunday afternoon.
Narrowboat Escapology Narrowboat Escapology: July 2011

This is the Blog of Narrowboat Escapology and that of her crew/owners Paul and Elaine. Saturday, 9 July 2011. Sandon to Great Haywood. A very wet morning delayed our departure for an hour or so. Then down through Sandon Lock, past Salt and down through Hoo Mill Lock and into the Marina - Hood up all the way! It's amazing how the wind always builds as you approach the challenge of manoeuvring a 58' boat in a tight marina! Moored back at Great Haywood - typically the sun comes out after we stop. As was the...

Narrowboat Ellis
In MY mind, this is a record of the pre-build, build and (hopefully) life aboard the good ship 'Ellis' (yes I know - she's a boat not a ship! Tuesday, 10 January 2017. A weekend off, 2 sets of visitors and a Ginger moment. We'll start in reverse order. With this in mind, I set to and measured the space above the basin in the bathroom and the corresponding area above the toilet. It then occurred it might be an idea to have another mirror the opposite side of the bathroom bulkhead in the main bedroom.
Aardvarks and Maffi's Boat
Photo: Cruising past Windsor wearing a Pith Helmet (pic Sue NPXL). Welcome to the toilet wall. Sunday, 19 November 2017. Links to this post. Happenings on The Oxford Canal. A 10 foot high wooden arch. Oh it was a nice arch if you stood back a bit, but not the best arch. A proscenium arch of box construction with overlays of layered ply and illuminated lettering across the top section powered by solar panels. So back to the arch how much do you think this arch cost? That will be another £4,000! It has bee...
