We are lucky in New Denver to still have lots of historic buildings. There were some severe forest fires here in the past, but the townsite was mostly spared. And we are also lucky to still have a good selection of shops and services; between New Denver and Silverton we have:. A full service Hospital, 24/7 Emergency and a heli-pad. K-12 school and Post Office. ADSL internet and cell phone service. 2 Grocery Stores, Natural Food Store and 2 Gas Stations. Credit Union with ATM.

We have 3 units to rent each with a private bath. All the bathrooms have showers. On the main floor is a King room and a Queen room. A unit with coffee/tea, microwave and small fridge is available to these rooms. Upstairs is a 2-bedroom suite: a Queen bedroom, and a room with 2 double beds, with a shared bath. Guests can use the small fridge and coffee/tea in the dining room. The price is $95 for each unit (1 or 2 people), and $35 for each additional person. We charge no taxes.

Creek and Lake | Sweet Dreams Guesthouse

Carpenter Creek is just a two-minute walk from the Guesthouse. You can either walk on the level to a grassy boulevard with nice views of the creek, or go down a little hill and get to the creek bed, and the lake. The lake is particularly suited to small craft that can be pulled up on a beach. All the sand is on the west side of the lake and there are some fine beaches and camp sites. The lake can be unpredictable however, always be prepared to stay overnight on the other side if you go there.
