Performer - Clinician - Conductor - Arranger. Sunday, December 27, 2009. Sunday, December 27, 2009. On a side note, when I got home and checked my mail, I had a letter from the Roanoke Symphony telling me I wasn't qualified to audition and it would not be the best use of my time to audition. All I have to say to that is bring it on Roanoke Symphony. Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Wednesday, December 16, 2009. This week I started doing weight watchers. April 2010 ~ Jesse Rackley
http://jrackley.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Performer - Clinician - Conductor - Arranger. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. I heard some really awesome performances too. JMU and Chicago were stunning but Fountain City just blew the doors off of Meymandi. It was so much fun and entertaining and it was a very musical performance. I also got to see Peter Pirotte and Mark Norman, both of which play in FCBB. All in all it was a great first NABBA experience. Too bad it may be my last. Subscribe to My RSS Feed. Performer - Clinician - Conductor - Arranger. Saturday, March 27, 2010. Saturday, March 27, 2010. It's nice to see Duke seriously back in the hunt for the title. They have a good team this year and have as much chance as anyone else. The game last night was a bit rough because it was a defensive struggle. Purdue played them really well but Duke turned it on in the second half. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better offensive performance against Baylor. Friday, March 26, 2010. Ben Folds with the NC Symphony.

Performer - Clinician - Conductor - Arranger. Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Tuesday, March 05, 2013. Monday was a lot better! Since everyone showed back up, I decided to start with Fanfare and Jubiloso. Right away. Time to see if they could actually play it. Sure enough, they could. I spent some time working on balance and blend and a little style work and the piece sounded pretty decent. Good work people! Here is a video of the Triangle Brass Band playing Festive Overture. Posted in: Brass Band. NABBA Rehears...

http://jrackley.blogspot.com/2013/03/lazy-weekend.html
Performer - Clinician - Conductor - Arranger. Sunday, March 10, 2013. Sunday, March 10, 2013. This is the first time in a long time that I can remember a weekend with nothing to do. No concerts, no family trips, nothing. It's been nice to relax and get a little work done around the house. I managed to clean the garage and mow the lawn. It would be nice if I had a student that would do it for me.hint, hint :). Sorry for the word poop. I know it's not the most formal word, but who cares, it's my blog.

http://jrackley.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Performer - Clinician - Conductor - Arranger. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. This week is recovery week from working at East Carolina University's Summer Band Camp all last week. The camp consisted of long days that were VERY HOT! Other than the heat it was a fun camp. I got to see some band director friends that I don't see often and had a good time hanging with them. I'm teaching a couple lessons and then hanging around today. *Sigh. Subscribe to My RSS Feed. Follow Me on Twitter.
