Reluctant Dragon: Just when you thought it was safe to go out…
http://reluctant-dragon.blogspot.com/2008/02/just-when-you-thought-it-was-safe-to-go.html
My life and the surrounding areas. Monday, February 18, 2008. Just when you thought it was safe to go out…. The police are once again ordered to let fascist thugs use Belgrade as target practice to vent their frustrations, the main parties plan to show the world some good old Serbian national unity, dashing all my naïve hopes expressed a few posts ago that change could be on the way. What I wish for people of Serbia and Kosovo, whether in one, two or seventeen states, is independence from corrupt ill-mea...

Reluctant Dragon: Sad, Very Sad
http://reluctant-dragon.blogspot.com/2008/02/sad-very-sad.html
My life and the surrounding areas. Wednesday, February 20, 2008. Sad, Very Sad. If all this independence stuff is false, illegal and invalid, shouldn’t it be business as usual? We still have as much control over Kosovo as we did last week? If it weren’t for McDonalds’s restaurants, LDP and Albanian pastry shops we would have no problems whatsoever. Daniel (Srebrenica Genocide Blog Editor). Ordinary citizens of Serbia are suffering because of radical politicians who want war. And that's unfortunate.

Reluctant Dragon: April 2007
http://reluctant-dragon.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
My life and the surrounding areas. Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Although many of us have been hoping for a miracle which would pull this country from the brink of the abyss and lay it safely back on the right track, it seems we now have scientific proof that we are one more option short. The discovery of Kryptonite. In a Serbian mine (as reported by BBC) means that we cannot even hope for Superman anymore. So is this why we have become a refuge for the villains of the world? Friday, April 20, 2007. However, ...

Reluctant Dragon: July 2007
http://reluctant-dragon.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
My life and the surrounding areas. Monday, July 09, 2007. Do not rejoice prematurely when dealing with paperwork and office clerks. It’s never over. No singing fat ladies in sight. But I won’t let this break me. When the going gets tough, the tough make an extremely detailed list of questions and designate a whole afternoon for international phone calls to set things straight. Today is that day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Pain in the Blog. Pustolovina - Adventure in Serbian.

Reluctant Dragon: March 2008
http://reluctant-dragon.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
My life and the surrounding areas. Friday, March 14, 2008. Damn capitalism. So much to say, and with all the work and classes I didn’t have time to write event the shortest of posts. I was thrilled, therefore, with the news of elections. I am, at the same time, very scared about their potential outcome, but it seems this time, more than ever before, we have a referendum. Who has the majority? Which direction will the country take? Despite my sincere wishes, it is now clear that it will be utterly impossi...

Reluctant Dragon: June 2007
http://reluctant-dragon.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
My life and the surrounding areas. Tuesday, June 26, 2007. Deadlines have came and gone, but my bureaucratic adventures continue. Slowly, results of my arduous work are becoming visible and the road to New York, though paved with paperwork, is starting to open up. Basically, I will be going back to school. Something I wanted to do for a while, but now have the opportunity and good reasons to do. I’ve also learned something. I’m no longer setting deadlines. Tuesday, June 19, 2007. I bought one and handed ...

Desperate Serbwife: "So how was home?"
http://desperateserbwife.blogspot.com/2006/09/so-how-was-home.html
Sunday, September 17, 2006. So how was home? Home was good, as always. There is really no way to compare seeing your family and friends after missing them so much. However there is always a constant nagging feeling - a feeling that you're always a stranger, no matter how many friends you make. We might live in the same buildings, face the same annoyances (did I tell you my car got towed, AGAIN! Like climbing back into your warm and cozy bed after a hard day's work. That's how I felt while I was home.

Reluctant Dragon: The Patriotic Youth of Serbia Wears Prada
http://reluctant-dragon.blogspot.com/2008/02/patriotic-youth-of-serbia-wears-prada.html
My life and the surrounding areas. Friday, February 29, 2008. The Patriotic Youth of Serbia Wears Prada. It’s a shame they didn’t organize the protest in Soho, much nicer stores there. Still I hope I’ll find at least an Urban Outfitters somewhere. The only remaining dilemma, both for me and other patriots at home is how do we then live with ourselves for wearing these imperialistic brands? In fact, how do I live here at all if I am to boycott enemy products? Onda sam se predomislio. There Will Be Blood.
