Sam and i were spelling words today. he wanted to spell "mario kart" (as in Wii). i explained to him that "cart" is spelled with a "c" but sometimes people spell it with a "k" instead. he looked at me and said so sincerely "but mom - we've got to go all around the world and tell everyone how to spell it the right way! I have never liked potty training any of the boys. i hate finding a bathroom while we're running errands or on car trips. our kids are exceptionally interested in public restrooms and as a result we have visited every public restroom in the tri-state area. eating out (which is extremely rare for us) is a joke. they have to go as soon as the food gets to the table.
