One Year of Americanism. Tuesday, March 5, 2013. D336-D353: Buenos Aires, Uruguay, Iguazu Falls in Argentina and Paraguay – 13 February to 2 March 2013. I reached Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America in the morning of D336 where I crashed in BA Stop Hostel. This day was spent wandering around the centre crossing Avenida 9 de Julio, the widest avenue in the world. Later on strolled around Plaza de Mayo admiring the old buildings and the huge Casa Rosada (Pink House) aka Argentine Presidential House.

I was cold this morning when I woke up. The temps dropped a lot last night. I was awake and up well before the alarm went off, but still had a tough time dragging my self out of bed. I stumbled through my morning and probably wasted some time. I got out on my bike by 5:40. Distance: 7.65 miles. I was a bit dizzy during the ride, but didn’t stop for food or water. 2 cups fresh strawberries. With some non-dairy creamer. I am going to make an effort to have my coffee more and more black. Or am I just bored?
