Ordinary goodness can make a difference to the world. My hyacinths struggling to flower fully. It has been a harsh winter with more tough weather forecast for the next few days. They are another glimpse of spring sometime in the future. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. August 7, 2015. Friday Feeders →. 5 thoughts on “ Friday flower. August 7, 2015 at 5:32 pm. Ordinary goodness can make a difference to the world. Down but not out. Two days of relentless gales had flattened my newly flowering daffodils. I rescued what I could and bought the flowers inside to enjoy. I see today that the remaining leaves and damaged flowers have almost returned to their previous height. Winter is very much with us still despite these early spring flowers showing a brave face to remind us of things yet to come. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. August 5, 2015. New Zealand na...
Thursday Tui Triumph | ordinarygoodness
https://ordinarygood.wordpress.com/2015/08/06/thursday-tui-triumph
Ordinary goodness can make a difference to the world. Finally I have set time aside to upload a video clip of Tuis visiting the sugar water feeders in my garden last November (2014). It is my first You Tube upload and seemed simple enough thank goodness. To get the best effect from the You Tube clip click this link here:. I hope you can also hear the rustling sounds of their wings. I have blogged about Tui many times here on my blog and they continue to bring me endless delight as they visit the garden.

Ordinary goodness can make a difference to the world. 8220;Don’t Quit” poem. The author of this poem is unknown, but it is widely read and it is timely for me today. I hope it inspires you too! When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,. When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill,. When the funds are low and the debts are high,. And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,. When care is pressing you down a bit,. Rest if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns,. Octob...

It comes in short spasms, ending with a feeble whoosh like the ending gasp of an expiring, withered balloon. It’s the nightmare that I’ve feared would happen: my cat Spencer is experiencing an asthma crisis, and I’m not prepared. He has lost weight, his coat looks a mess, and he’s lethargic most of the time. If not for an X-ray, the vet might not have noticed that his airways are constricted. A tho...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Category Archives: traveling with pets. June 21, 2013. With the 4th of July, one of the noisiest national holidays in the U.S., panic can start at any moment, with firecrackers popping unpredictably. I originally discovered Chino Bandito about 17 years ago. Nestled in a low-end strip mall on 19th Avenue and Greenway Road in Phoenix, the joint had seen better days. In fact, if you had to define "dive" you could find a picture of Chino in Webster's. But, don't let the looks of the joint fool you. The food is fabulous. In 2005, Chino finally...
