1) 尖碼之聲 (Our Bus Terminal)為香港註冊的合法民間團體，成立於2009年，一直關注交通文化保育政策，更曾獲聯合國教科文組織(UNESCO)邀請出席2009年4月份的第十二屆聯合國教科文組織論壇(Forum UNESCO) 發表有關交通文化保育的論文，並成功爭取保留香港第一個公車總站-尖沙咀碼頭巴士總站，免於被政府拆卸及改建成為偽露天廣場及商場。 4) 本會得悉，不少台灣光復後的台鐵車輛都是在台北機廠組裝或改造，台北機廠可說是台鐵車輛的出生地，是台鐵歷史以至民國政府發展台灣的第一現場，能保存至今天，實在難得。 6) 近日從媒體報導得悉，台北市政府都發局方面有意將交通文化工作者辛辛苦苦保留下的台北機廠原址改為文創園區，但當中竟涉及將56%的用地改作建豪宅商場，餘下的近45%建築群用來作台北市立新美術館，但卻允許室內經營零售商場、餐飲、健身房等，說穿了，就是偽文青商場。 7) 聯合國教科文組織於2009年倡議的保育新方案圍繞歷史性城市地景 (Historic Urban Landscape)理念為中心，提倡歷史延續性及整存性的地景概念，代替以往孤立保存的指引。

1898年，九龍倉集團收購九龍渡海小輪公司，並改名為天星小輪公司。 1997年7月1日，九巴配合旅發局魅力100日活動開辦100D觀光巴士線，由尖沙咀碼頭出發穿梭九龍及港島北岸的主要旅遊點。因為這項改動，巴士總站面積縮小，多條途經的巴士線被調走，而各條車坑也被縮短及改建，使輪椅使用者更易登車。 2003年春夏之交，香港爆發了沙士 (又稱非典)事件，經濟跌至谷底，同年6月12日，旅遊事務署在立法會經濟事務委員會重振經濟活力及推廣旅遊業的措施中提出正積極籌備把天星碼頭公共交通交匯處(交匯處)搬往尖沙咀東(尖東)永安廣場花園，並將騰出的空地發展為一個公眾廣場。 Our message and Statement. Http:/ www.facebook.com/group.php? 1) 我們反對以任何理由遷拆尖沙咀碼頭公共交通交匯處包括巴士總站，的士站以及上落客區下簡稱為尖沙咀碼頭巴士總站，因為從交通管理、保育歷史文物、城市規劃以至作為公共空間的角度，我們都認為應該保留此塊土地作交通用地。 5) 我們質疑為何規劃大綱中容許在該地段興建達十五米高、樓面達萬呎的商業建築物 (註2). 碼頭一帶本已商店林立，搬走巴士總站去建造更多的商店，絕對毫不合理而最重要的，是為博取油尖旺區議會及相關團體支持，政府一直沒有在文件上提及在這個十五米高建築物的存在，企圖瞞天過海，直至2008年6月才被報章揭發這明顯是博大霧，誤導民意代表，跟銀行銷售迷債手法同出一轍，做法可恥. 6) 我們反對建立偽公共空間，我們不要銅鑼灣時代廣場的翻版，更討厭文化中心廣場般過度規管的死空間再度延伸。 4 我們強烈要求立法會及區議會在重新諮詢完成前，不要通過任何有關該露天廣場的所有計劃及撥款申請。
