Life With the Parks. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Happy 3rd Birthday, Jemmabear! Last week we celebrated Jemma's third birthday. I cannot believe that we have already had three years with this precious, spunky, beautiful, sweet girl in our lives. The time has flown by and she has brought so much joy to our lives. She just gets funnier and funnier as the time goes by and we love every minute with her. There were also cupcakes, "3" cookies, and mini cherry and apple pies. Little hands hard at work on crafts.

This is a blurry picture, but that is because Colin walked into the gym for the first time! Until now he could walk with assistance or by holding onto something every 5-10 steps. He is so proud of himself, and I am incredibly proud and happy for him too! I bought him new shoes yesterday, which I think he really likes. Posted by Kyle and Melanie White. Kyle and I had a fun long-weekend getaway in Las Vegas with the Throops. Gigi and Pop kept the kids for us, and we so appreciated it! Fun on their "bikes".

We started what will hopefully become a new tradition with friends in our neighborhood. We hosted a Christmas Caroling Hayride with friends from our LifeGroup who live in our neighborhood. We had a great weekend in Longview at the annual Quinn family reunion. Saturday was a fun-filled day beginning with brunch and playtime at Larry and Beverly's house Saturday, dinner and water fun at the splash park, followed by the balloon festival that evening.
