May 31, 2012. Day on the Farm. Today, we headed out with some friends to tour a local dairy farm and creamy. It was a LOT of fun! The kids got to practice milking a pretend cow. There were quite a few barn cats running about. this one kind of looked like a cow, and was the sweetest thing. let all the kids pick him up and carry him around like a rag doll. There was also a big hayride around the property and guided tour. We learned a LOT about raising dairy cows! The farmland was SO pretty. Fun in the sun.

September 25, 2012. Hard to believe, I know. How did that happen? Elizabeth has grown so fast. It's crazy to think of her as a big girl now. Although, since she did miss the kindergarten cut off by a few days, I still like to think I have ONE more year of my "preschooler." So even though she's five, I still have one more year before she's "officially" a big girl in my book. At least, that's what I keep telling myself. September 21, 2011. And on a happier note. I thought I'd leave you with a few exciting things mom and I have been working on for the rehearsal dinner. As part of the dinner, we have decided to organize a little "Smore's Bar." Our theme. "S'more Love" of course! We are going to use the same colors from the wedding- browns and yellows and other fall accents, along w/birds and rosettes, which will also be part of the wedding. Here's the invite I designed for the rehearsal. Cute, no? So, what do you think?

June 19, 2012. Elizabeth's Ballet/Tap recital was also this past Saturday. It was a busy day for us having T-ball in the morning, a dress rehearsal around lunch time, and then the recital early that evening. But it was so worth it. My girl did an OUTSTANDING job and I am SO proud of her. Her ballet year is kinda long (runs September through June! Elena's big dance recital was the same day as the River Run and the Stearman summer kickoff - whew - what a busy day! Elena was so excited and especially thrilled that she got to wear make-up!
