Saturday, January 31, 2009. For those of you that believe that there is cease-fire in southern Israel/Gaza. For those of you that don't know(it's probably not reported) there have been 4 or 5 rockets fired at Israel since the cease-fire and mortar shells have continued to rain on the kibbutzim on the border as if nothing ever changed. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Election Day in Ashkelon - 2/11/09. Anyway, we finished the shcool day. At around 1:45 there was a siren only in certain parts of town here. I didn't hear it. Apparently there were a couple of kassams that fell in or near the south of the city. No one was hurt. On Monday(yesterday) that was all the kids could talk about. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. A Year Ago Today. We received the phone call that forever changed our lives! It was our referral call and the day that Yue Mei Chun entered our family. Yue Mei Chun became known as Lily Mei Chun and has brought so much joy to our lives as our daughter and baby sister. Life is busy right now (hence no posting all summer!
