Yue Mei Chun became known as Lily Mei Chun and has brought so much joy to our lives as our daughter and baby sister. Life is busy right now (hence no posting all summer! Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Bryce turned 5 on Saturday. So hard to believe that my baby boy is 5 years old! We spent the day having a party with a few of his friends and then it turned into a big family/friend cookout. Bryce had a great day and loved the water slide and the bouncy house. Bryce is a very fun big brother for Lily. He is always able to make her laugh and although I am constantly telling him to be gentle, Lily loves to play rough with Bryce! Monday, September 29, 2008. Today was our long awaited travel meeting and we were presented with our itinerary. We leave in just over 2 weeks. Here we come Lily! Here is our itinerary:. October 16th: Leave Boston at 8:31 AM. October 17th: Arrive in Beijing at 1:55 PM. October 18: Great Wall and Summer Palace. October 19th: Forbidden City. fly to Nanchang at 5:20 PM. October 20th: Lily placed in our arms forever! October 21 - 24 - Nanchang. October 24 - 28th Guanzghou. October 28th - Back to Beijing.

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Yesterday was our swearing in ceremony at the US Consulate and then we left for Beijing. We have our envelope with all of Lily's immigration paperwork and once we are in Chicago the envelope is opened and Lily is a US citizen! Our 3 hour plane ride to Beijing went a lot better than before and Lily slept most of the time. Saturday, March 10, 2012. Made it to China. We arrived 8:00 Fri. night China time. I have been trying to post on my blog s, but it has been impossible. I have a fellow adoptive parent helping me out. He is actually on his way to China right now. Hopefully we will met up in Guangzhou. I tried a post with all of the details from yesterday, but it did not go though. Sorry, this is so frustrating.
