Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Week 39 (2) - Taupo and Auckland. On Tuesday morning Brid drove me to Hamilton where I caught the bus to Taupo. I had arranged to meet Brendon, the caving guide and rock climbing instructor from Waitomo. He had offered to teach me how to lead climb for free, now how could I say no to that! I arrived in Taupo. Around 2pm and killed the next few hours checking out the town. I went to see Robin Hood. At the cinema, which was bloody brilliant, Russell Crowe, rugged, rough and ready!
