VTD: Always Tasting: Apple Pancakes
http://veggietestdrive.blogspot.com/2012/10/apple-pancakes.html
Wednesday, October 03, 2012. Welcome, apple season! So thrilled you've come 'round again. I think I've lost more enamel on my teeth from eating you all, but you're so delicious that I will just suck it up and use that special toothpaste for a while. For those who are wondering how to squeeze more fall action into their breakfasts, here's the perfect pancake recipe. These are the puffy kind of pancakes, not so sweet, which is fine since you're probably loading it up with syrup. Right? 1 cup AP flour.

VTD: Always Tasting: About Christine

It's been more than five years since I went vegetarian. Again. Instead, I'm building a repertoire of vegetarian recipes that my (still) carnivorous husband and I can happily share for dinner. George is starting to enjoy his vegetables, something he avoided at all costs. (When I met him, he ate packaged salads drenched in ranch and the occasional side potato that flanked his steak. Mmmm.). It's been a weird, potholed road, but we're still riding it. You're welcome to tag along. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

erin's recipes: [teriyaki salmon]
http://behirschrecipes.blogspot.com/2013/10/teriyaki-salmon.html
Sunday, October 27, 2013. Teriyaki sauce (we like Soy Vay Teriyaki). Prepare broiling pan by covering with foil and brushing with olive oil. Place salmon skin side down and brush with olive oil. Broil 4-6 inches from heat until fish flakes easily. (Depending on the thickness - I broil for 12-16 minutes). Remove salmon and drizzle with teriyaki sauce. Remove skin by sliding spatula under the salmon, or flipping over and removing skin. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). At the baker's bench.

erin's recipes: June 2012
http://behirschrecipes.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 16, 2012. A super flavorful but simple recipe. I use chicken leg quarters (the leg and thighs connected), but substituting bone-in , skin on chicken breasts are fine too. The skin and bones add depth to the chicken - just be sure not to eat the skin. (Or bones. but that should be obvious! Sprinkle chicken (bone-in, skin on) with salt and pepper. Heat skillet to medium/high, add a Tbsp (eyeball it) of Olive Oil and sear chicken until both sides are golden brown. 1 Tbsp (or more) sirachi.

erin's recipes: pulled pork - a slow cooker recipe
http://behirschrecipes.blogspot.com/2014/08/pulled-pork-slow-cooker-recipe.html
Pulled pork - a slow cooker recipe. Tuesday, August 19, 2014. I don't know how long I've been wanting a slow cooker. but I've been lusting after one for an embarrassingly long time. (Maybe that came with having kids? I finally got one ( this one. It was on sale at Target at almost 50% off), and the first thing I made was pulled pork. Immediately I screamed "why didn't I buy a slow cooker earlier? We could have been eating this all the time! Makes 8-10 servings 30 minutes to prep, 6-10 hours to cook.
