Follow Me, Boys: September 2010
http://blondeseason.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Follow Me, Boys. Life with four blond blue-eyed boys . . . Sunday, September 5, 2010. Not only did we attend the memorial, but we went to the beach, spent time with cousins and extended family, and went to Stinson Beach! I love this beach and remember boogie boarding and collected scads of sea shells! Took me a little longer than usual to get my feet adjusted to the coldness of the ocean water! And the curving drive heading toward the beach reminded me that I'm not a teenager anymore! But I love it!

Parkinson Family: Happy Halloween!
http://aparkinsonfam.blogspot.com/2014/11/happy-halloween.html
Parenthood is a Sacred Privilege" -Elder Packer. Sunday, November 16, 2014. We had a great Halloween season this year! Things were a little crazy at our house with school and just keeping up with everyday life. Halloween has never been my favorite holiday but it is a lot of fun for the kids. I just enjoy the fall season in general, when you're trying to savor the last few weeks of warmth before the cold comes. We were enjoying the fairly warm weather this year! Parkinson Family: May 2014
http://aparkinsonfam.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Parenthood is a Sacred Privilege" -Elder Packer. Sunday, May 11, 2014. A Very Special Easter. We had such a fun Easter this year! The kids were so excited about the holiday, which made it even more fun. We have made a few more efforts to make Easter special, and a little different from the traditional one. As you can see above, we still did the traditional Easter baskets and on Easter morning, but we are making efforts to start new traditions for Easter to make it more Christ-centered. He took a 'horse w...

Parkinson Family: Welcome, Baby!!
http://aparkinsonfam.blogspot.com/2014/10/welcome-baby.html
Parenthood is a Sacred Privilege" -Elder Packer. Sunday, October 5, 2014. My doctor, Dr Horsley, delivered all 6 of my babies at Logan Regional Hospital. I am the first patient for whom he has delivered all 6. Yeah! We had an exciting weekend at our house, welcoming our 6th child into the Parkinson family! After several weeks of anticipation and wondering when it would happen, the day finally came. She was born on Friday, October 3rd at 1:25 am. It just feels like some menstrual cramps! Pretty nice, huh?

Parkinson Family: July 2014
http://aparkinsonfam.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Parenthood is a Sacred Privilege" -Elder Packer. Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Jordan had his 2nd birthday on June 8th. It was a Sunday and so we didn't plan to do much. In the morning after breakfast, we let him open his presents, which consisted mostly of cars, cars, and cars. (He has to have a car in his hands at all times, preferably a McQueen car.) He also got a Thomas the Train lego duplo set. Well, who wants a plain old chocolate cake? Add a few Lightning McQueens on top and then, wallah! We figured out ...

Parkinson Family: May 2015
http://aparkinsonfam.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Parenthood is a Sacred Privilege" -Elder Packer. Thursday, May 28, 2015. Heidi and Jared's Birthdays. May is always a big month for our whole family, but especially for Heidi and Jared because it is also their birthdays. I honestly think May is as busy a month as December most years, with all of the end-of-the-school-year events we have going on. On May 16th, Heidi had her dance performance. This is the first time Heidi has ever had dance and she really had a lot of fun! We had a whole bunch of fun games...

Parkinson Family: January 2015
http://aparkinsonfam.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Parenthood is a Sacred Privilege" -Elder Packer. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Home for the Holidays. Pretty awesome when you can have the whole nativity scene with just your own children- complete with Mary, Joseph, baby, an angel, wiseman, and shepherd! Our Christmas holiday break was just that- a break. We had a wonderful 2 weeks just being home with our family and enjoying each other. We spent the night of the 28th and 29th at the cabin. I enjoyed hanging out with my siblings and making new memories.

Parkinson Family: The Blessings of a Full Life
http://aparkinsonfam.blogspot.com/2014/12/the-blessings-of-full-life.html
Parenthood is a Sacred Privilege" -Elder Packer. Thursday, December 18, 2014. The Blessings of a Full Life. Ever since Thanksgiving, I have been looking around a little harder at all my blessings and reflecting on what I have. A constant source of frustration for me nowadays is how "full" everything is. Every where I turn in our house, there is something overflowing- from the garbage can to the laundry basket, a sink full. In the hand of a mighty man; so. Children of the youth. Thank God for dirty dishes.
