They are healthy and happy and learning so I'm thrilled. The Christmas Eve Service was very nice and and everyone had on their best outfits to sing to the Lord. Welcome Home - Elizabeth. Adoption journey to Berdyansk, Ukraine. April 15, 2007. Our journey has begun! We packed up a rental car and are on our way to JFK. We elected to drive to JFK and not risk a canceled Richmond to JFK flight due to the ongoing storm. Tomorrow we will continue our drive to JFK and be on our way to Kiev. We know we are blessed to receive this appointment since there are so many wonderful families that have waited even longer.
