They arrived on Wednesday, June 18 and left 3 weeks later on Wednesday, July 9. Between the cruise and their arrival, we were able to get together with all of our friends (probably one of the last times! Wednesday, June 18. Thursday, June 19. We had planned to pick up our new English Bulldog puppy after the Christmas holiday. But, the breeder called and asked if we wanted to pick him up early and then bring him back to her while we were gone over Christmas. Of course, we said yes! And, we’ve announced the name – Ribeye. I just hoped that it would fit him throughout the winter!

Regarding how the player is turned off and disconnected. None of this made any difference. Seldom annoying playlist issues aside, I do heartily recommend using Rockbox if you have one of the many supported players. And the Sansa Clip is a very nice little media player that, with Rockbox and a large memory card, makes a good main portable.

Paul and Christy Schuette. September 19, 2008. The First Six Weeks Back in the States. 8212; Paul and Christy @ 3:32 pm. We had made it back safe and sound, but we still had a lot to do! The first order of business was to take Ribeye to PetSmart on Tuesday, July 29th for a bath! He needed one before we left and the long journey home the day before didn’t help. A short while later, he was soft and smelly good! That was good, because we had a 9 hour drive in front of us the next day to go back to Michigan.

Even after suffering an opening day loss to the lowly Pirates, 6-3, I am still looking forward to this season. Perhaps it is because for the first time in the last several years there are no expectations of grandeur. Baseball is back and life is good!
