June 9, 2013. Marty goes to Mars/Poetry Road. As I draw back the fabric. To open the curtain to the day. A blue jay lands on the feeder. I stand at the window and reflect. My cat joins me. We stare awhile–those inside at out. The jay feeds then turns and inspects a dropped seed. He shows us the mosaic of blues in his tail and back. The incredible beautiful layers of feathers. Skip to main content. By Alessandra Bava, poet provocateur. Marina Tsvetaeva and Me. March 07, 2017. I have read so many works by Marina Tsvetaeva. Since last summer that Im totally obsessed by her. It seems to me that I have swallowed a whole world and that I now need to process it, much like an alligator digesting its huge prey. I have had a poem about her 2 daughters whirling in my mind for weeks. Its so heartbreaking, that I fear I may never be able to write it down. March 07, 2017. January 08, 2017.
