Just another WordPress.com weblog. The area of Pollokshaws has undergone great transformation in the years since it joined the City of Glasgow. This study will focus on the changes that occurred in this area from 1912 (annexation of Pollokshaws to Glasgow). The following photographs cover Pollokshaws as a whole and are from a publicity board from 1960. The 1957 report also states that there were 120 shops as well as 10 public houses.
