Just another WordPress site. Here are the general guidelines for making blankets Project Linus Tucson. Please do not use wool or wool blend fabric or yarn to avoid allergic reactions. Don’t use yarn fringe. No add-ons (teddy bears, hats, buttons, or other items that might be removed), to avoid any choking hazards. Please triple check for pins and remove them all. No odors (including smoke, laundry detergents/softeners, mold, or mildew). No pet dander or pet hair. Isolette blankets should be 100% cotton.

In 2017, Project Linus Tucson distributed 6,845 blankets, which is an average of 570 blankets each month. Project Linus Windsor Essex County. Project Linus is the dream of Karen Loucks-Baker of Colorado. She was inspired on Christmas Eve 1995 by a photo of a 3-year-old cancer patient Laura Williams and her special blankie. Karen decided to provide homemade security blankets to Denver's Rocky Mountain Children's Cancer Center and Project Linus was born.
