Reaching out for the future. November 29, 2013. Introduction of the higher learning stage of the spiral model of learning. Through researching my blogs, I believe that there are two main areas where teaching is flawed. Firstly the focus of the class is more on goals than learning. Secondly the idea every class can use the same model to fit all situations in learning. Fig 1 The different stages of understanding. Fig 2 The cycle of teaching.
