SATURDAY, JUNE 25. George Ryan will be leading his annual paddle on GHOST LAKE. If you haven't done this in the past, it's an excellent day on the lake with scenic mountain views. The lake is located southeast of Wells/Barkerville out the 3100 road. It's aprox. a 2 1/2 hour drive from Quesnel. So you must plan for the full day. The trip is suitable for tandem or solo canoes and touring or rec. kayaks with minimal experience. It's an excellent trip for the whole family. Clothes in a 20 - 30 litre dry bag.
