Little Ivie Lane : Mother's Day
http://littleivielane.blogspot.com/2015/05/mothers-day.html
Sunday, May 10, 2015. I am so happy to be celebrating my first "real" Mother's Day as a mom to my twins. One year ago today, I announced that I was pregnant with them and now I get to cuddle them and reflect on everything I had to do to get Boston and Lyla here in my arms. She is one of the many women that have touched my life for good. Taught me, supported me, fought for me. She is my life-long family friend that would drop everything just to help me with my high school math homework. She is my birth mo...

Little Ivie Lane : June 2014
http://littleivielane.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 21, 2014. So here I am writing this post stuck at my doctors office all morning for the lovely 3 hour glucose test. How am I feeling? Like I never want to consume sugar again. Bleh. I've been really blessed so far with no complications. I am very thankful for that. Also, on Tuesday Chris had his second knee surgery. In March he got a bone graft and this time he got the actual ACL surgery. This is his third one! Third time's the charm right? Their brains, hearts, kidneys, bladders, stomachs...

Little Ivie Lane : July 2014
http://littleivielane.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. 24 Weeks and a growing belly! I saw my maternal fetal medicine specialists this morning and they had nothing but good things to say! Both babies look perfect and are still measuring slightly ahead. Our boy still loves to be disobedient for the sonographers. Maybe he will be my "difficult" child! He is now on my left side head down and facing my spine. Now I know who's kicking me all the time! I'm so happy to know that all three of us are good and healthy. No doubt pregnancy gets ...

Little Ivie Lane : October 2013
http://littleivielane.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 25, 2013. HSG Before and After. I've been afraid of getting an HSG (. Ever since my doctor told me about it. It's intimidating enough that it's impossible to say the actual name. I read forums about getting an HSG and many women said is was very painful. To those that don't know what an HSG is, it is an x-ray procedure that shows whether or not your fallopian tubes are open. I explain it all as well as my experience in my vlog below! Just wait for my drugged up outtakes! Except my bladder...

Monday, August 25, 2014. Mickey and Minnie Baby Shower. Last Saturday my wonderful friend Ashley threw me the cutest little Mickey and Minnie baby shower! We are big Disney fans so this was such a fun theme. I definitely can't wait for our twins to meet Mickey and Minnie one day! Also, instead of bringing a card everyone brought a book. We have a great start to our collection! I owe a HUGE thanks to Ashley. The shower was so fun! Posted by Rachel {Little Ivie Lane}. Thursday, August 14, 2014. Yes and no&...

Little Ivie Lane : Happiness For My Father
http://littleivielane.blogspot.com/2016/06/happiness-for-my-father.html
Thursday, June 30, 2016. Happiness For My Father. Some might wonder, would someone that kills himself really go to heaven? Why would someone that spent his life trying his best to serve God go anywhere else? I believe Christ's atonement goes beyond this earthly life, and I'm sure my dad has used Christ's atoning sacrifice to correct anything that may have been wrong in how he left this world. I'm happy for you dad. To those who struggle with depression, this is a wonderful video:. June 30, 2016 at 2:26 PM.

Little Ivie Lane : Thoughts On Exclusively Pumping
http://littleivielane.blogspot.com/2015/04/thoughts-on-exclusively-pumping.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Thoughts On Exclusively Pumping. First off, happy half-birthday. To my cute little twins! Boston and Lyla are 6 months old! I can't believe they've blessed my life for already half a year! They LOVE bananas, Boston loves to roll around, and Lyla has become the binky thief! Before I had the twins I planned on just nursing them. That's what you do when you have babies right? Just nurse. Just. If you have any questions about exclusively pumping feel free to contact me! I know that...

Little Ivie Lane : A Very Very Overdue Update
http://littleivielane.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-very-very-overdue-update.html
Saturday, March 14, 2015. A Very Very Overdue Update. I have started this post like four different times, but never finished. The first time was back in January:. Obviously I haven't blogged in awhile. The twins are now 3 months old! I think the mess with the plagiarizer is done. I don't think it will happen again and I've been taking more precautionary measures. Now fast forward to February:. They slept through the entire night in their CRIB! I slept in the room with them just in case but they never eve...

http://littleivielane.blogspot.com/2015/03/our-favorite-bedtime-songs.html
Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Our Favorite Bedtime Songs. We finally have a good little routine going at bedtime! Golden Slumbers sung by Mindy Gledhill. I used to be obsessed with The Beatles so I love this song and I especially love Mindy Gledhill's version of it. Child of Light - Mindy Gledhill. More Than the World - Mindy Gledhill. OkayI really like Mindy's voice and how calming it is. Nice and peaceful to fall asleep to! Dream - Priscilla Ahn. You'll Be In My Heart - Celtic Woman. Hi, I'm Rachel!

Little Ivie Lane : May 2014
http://littleivielane.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 30, 2014. It's strange to look back on my fight against infertility. Your focus completely changes when you're pregnant. Sometimes it's hard for me to remember how difficult this has been all because I'm so happy for what's to come in 5 months. Nevertheless, I'm afraid it's something I will have to battle for each precious child we are blessed with. Infertility is real and it is hard. Many battle it privately. More people than you would realize. It's learning a second language of acronyms.
