two thousand miles away.: March 2012
http://karabobara.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Two thousand miles away. March 24, 2012. I am stuck in an automobile NIGHTMARE right now. I'm about to pull my hair out, I think. Can I take a moment to share with you about my last three days of bad fortune? Then came yesterday. At one o'clock, the glass guy showed up a perfect ten minutes early, and I was so excited to get this taken care of! So I called up AAA to get someone out to jump my car, and they said they would be an hour. It's been a whole hour again. So I went BACK outside, and knew the ...

two thousand miles away.: February 2012
http://karabobara.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Two thousand miles away. February 24, 2012. This little man is FREAKING me out, how fast he is growing and changing. He is picking up speed in his walker, going exactly where he wants to.he's getting his knees under him and will make tiny scooches forward, and this morning he started experimenting with returning daddy's "bye bye! Wave It is so much fun, but it's sad too! I love my little guy so incredibly much. It's cute to see max light up in recognition for people. Mostly for Jon when he gets home ...

two thousand miles away.: August 2012
http://karabobara.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Two thousand miles away. August 6, 2012. I barely remember life before Max, and what I do remember seems so pale. 366 days ago I was bringing my son into the world, and it seems impossible to me that the two babies above are the same boy! If I ever, for a second, try to imagine my life without my son in it.I lose my breathe, my heart literally beats painfully fast, and tears flood my eyes. I'm not exaggerating. Never have I loved someone so much more than my own life. I love my boy. It's so special t...

two thousand miles away.: things are heating up!
http://karabobara.blogspot.com/2013/03/things-are-heating-up.html
Two thousand miles away. March 26, 2013. Things are heating up! We live with a kid. No longer the parents of a baby! He loves to parent Jack lately. He repeats all of the things we say to him, but to our cat. Maybe he needs to feel in control about something? Jack, get down! My favorite was when he woke up from his nap yesterday and commanded her to come get him). A smattering of camera pics:. 1 2 making the most of a sunny, warm day by taking a ferry ride. He loved it! Haha, I've become an obsessive sew...

Guammy McGuamerton: July 2010
http://guamhead.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
A travel log of the Tropical Pacific, Asia and Australia- Enjoy! Friday, July 30, 2010. Large Torii at the entrance to the Meiji Shrine. The logs used to build this torii are said to have come from a 1,500 year old cypress tree on Mount Tandai in Taiwan, which surprised me due to my previous held opinion that everything that came out of Taiwan was plastic. Who knew! We stayed near the world's busiest train station - Sinjuku. The book we had said about 2 million people pass through there every day....
