Trip around the big blue. Map of my trip. Sailing from Caye Caulker to Rendezvous Caye. I spent a couple of days in Caye Caulker but I did not take any pictures… cannot believe it. Well I will be back in a week… note to myself: take picture of this paradise! Anyway, today I jumped with 16 other travel companions on a 3 days sailing trip with http:/ raggamuffintours.com. Snorkeling in the middle of rainbow colored fishes. Good time on the boat. Good food and good drinks. Looks like a lost paradise!

Engang i efteråret havde Rasmus på nettet fundet en katamaranbådtur, som sejler to gange om ugen fra Caye Caulker til den noget sydligere by Placencia. Sejlturen med selskabet Raggamuffin Tours. Tager tre dage, og undervejs snorkler man på revet, fisker fra båden og overnatter i telt på to forskellige små øer – cayes som de hedder her i Belize. Afsted med rygsæk, kamera, stor rejselyst og godt mod. Fredag den 31. juli 2015. Her ved Bacalar blev vi tilbudt masser af snorkelture, men så vidt vi har forstået, er der ikke rigtig noget at se udover selve søen. Vi havde forstillet os at bo i en lille hytte nede ved søbredden, men som antydet så hang pris og kvalitet ikke sammen. Vi fandt i stedet et lille familiedrevet hotel ved byens torv. Og så gik vi på jagt efter en cantina, da det var lørdag. Men sådan en har man åbenbart ikke i Bacalar. Ved Aku...
