The Red Door: Sellers Kitchen Cupboard

http://reddoorprimitives.blogspot.com/2008/11/sellers-kitchen-cupboard.html

Monday, November 24, 2008. I think this one has to be one of my favourite cupboards.but then again they all become my "favourite". Oh my gosh what I wouldn't give to be in your back yard! I love your site and I've only dipped my big toe into it! I finally found someone who has the "eye for primitives" that I do! I feel like a kid in a candy store right now and just had to write a quick note or I will go crazy! Okgotta go.gotta look some more! Melissa M. Northern Minnesota. February 11, 2009 at 5:36 PM.

The Red Door: Happy Endings

http://reddoorprimitives.blogspot.com/2009/01/happy-endings.html

Thursday, January 1, 2009. So you can just imagine how thrilled we were earlier this week when the new owner of the Knetchel Kitchen Kupboard sent us this lovely picture of herself and her daughter. Thanks Carol! We nearly teared up some). We enjoy having the gramophone, (that functions like new), and it occupies a prominent place in our home, along with other complimentary antiques. Keep up the good work. I invite you to visit my site at: garyross.ca. Have a healthy and prosperous 2009. A View of Our Shop.

The Red Door: Hoosiers R Us

http://reddoorprimitives.blogspot.com/2008/11/hoosiers-r-us.html

Sunday, November 2, 2008. Okayso we are starting to look like a Hoosiers R Us franchise. We can't help it.it has become an obsession of sorts. Really now.could any of you turn this little gem away? It is 100% original.I mean all original hardware, original flour sifter, tambour. Door fronts, everything! And best of all.it has never been tampered with.this is the original oak finish. Good old cousin Ralph has one that looks almost like the original ' cept. He has a half gallon of chartreuse. Stay tuned be...

The Red Door: Changing Seasons

http://reddoorprimitives.blogspot.com/2009/09/changing-seasons.html

Sunday, September 13, 2009. Can you believe it is nearly the middle of September? Terry and I have been busy in the workshop creating some new "Autumn/Halloween" prims and re-arranging the shop floor. With the approach of fall we just felt we needed to shake things up a bit and a change is as good as a rest as they say. It won't be long now and we will have to put a fire on in the shop. Cooler, shorter days are on the way and you will find us huddled up to the woodstove with the tea kettle on. A nice mix...

The Red Door: Cutting a Figure 8

http://reddoorprimitives.blogspot.com/2008/11/cutting-figure-8.html

Sunday, November 23, 2008. Cutting a Figure 8. If this cold weather hangs on much longer we'll be skating on the creek before you can say Jack Frost! You will however need more than one of these prim wreaths if you plan on cutting a figure on the outdoor rink since we only painted up one skate per wreath.so we suggest that you hang one on your door to greet guests instead! We love the way these turned out and hope to get a few more made up this week. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A View of Our Shop.

Meadowsweet: A Happy Birthday Girl

http://meadowsweetprims.blogspot.com/2010/01/happy-birthday-girl.html

Photos, Hand-mades, Antiques, Gardening and Other Things I Fancy. Saturday, January 30, 2010. A Happy Birthday Girl. Sierra is living proof that you never get too old for a pirate ship birthday cake and a "Birthday Girl" button. Can you believe I didn't even notice the mirror frame behind Mike's head when I snapped this one. It looks as if he has horns. (or angel wings.hahaha). But happily we are starting to notice the days are getting longer.it's no longer pitch black dark at 5pm but rather dusk. He loo...

Photos, Hand-mades, Antiques, Gardening and Other Things I Fancy. Sunday, November 15, 2009. The challenge this week is about capturing fins, fur and feathers. Pretty tough for those of us without aquariums and crystal clear fish ponds. I was going to haul a frozen salmon out of the freezer for my "fin" portion but came up with another idea last minute.so here we go. Chickadee enjoying the seed pie. A whole fish just for me? http://meadowsweetprims.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Photos, Hand-mades, Antiques, Gardening and Other Things I Fancy. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Out With the Old and In With the New My Promises for Change. A new year approaches. Not unlike the last I think. One day fading into night and into day again. 4:45 alarm shrieks on the bedside table. 6:00 bleary eyed lock fumbling. Multi-task no time for lunch for this one woman complaint dept. 6:00 home at last and so it goes one day fading into night. A new year approaches. Different than the last. Even if my...

Meadowsweet: Lean on Me

http://meadowsweetprims.blogspot.com/2009/12/lean-on-me.html

Photos, Hand-mades, Antiques, Gardening and Other Things I Fancy. Saturday, December 12, 2009. It has been very quiet around here without Hunter. I haven't been feeling up to blogging or taking pictures since losing my sweet boy. Poor Willow is very clingy and confused.I don't know if dogs grieve but I'm sure that she is. Wee Remington tried his best to entice her into a game of tag around the kitchen table the other night.but to no avail. Told ya I should be a therapy dog! December 12, 2009 at 8:37 AM.

Sunnie Andress and Old Crow Farm now in Vancouver, Washington. Original Hooked Rugs and Santas, Witches and other characters by Sunnie. Mystery Rug-HHHD-Sunnie/rug hooking/Halloween rugs-Day 12. I’m really enjoying this rug and only have about 1/4th left to do! And it should go pretty fast unless more pumpkins intervene (or “life” does! Photos, Hand-mades, Antiques, Gardening and Other Things I Fancy. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Easter Weekend Quack Grass Round-up. It has certainly been a while since my last posting. I have missed my little blog and the time I have had to play on the computer has been used to read and catch up with all the bloggers I love to follow. It's time to get a move on and let you know I haven't been completely idle all this while. Turns out they make pretty good seedling pots. I transformed it into this. Of course I...

Photos, Hand-mades, Antiques, Gardening and Other Things I Fancy. Saturday, December 26, 2009. Meet The New Addition. I am going to show off my Christmas present. Santa brought a wee Labrador puppy on Christmas morning. His momma is a Yellow and his poppa is a Chocolate. His name is Garmin and he's just 6 wks old. Willow has accepted him and is letting him nap on her bed. She is such a good girl. Garmin is hubby's choice for a name.I like Ruger and the girls are undecided. For now he's "the pup". Welcome...
