A Reluctant Exhibitionist: Flirting with blogging
http://reluctantexhibitionist.blogspot.com/2011/08/flirting-with-blogging.html
Standing naked in a picture window is a scary thought. Kind of like blogging. Monday, August 29, 2011. What did I do with my free time, exactly? Now I feel so much more comfortable letting it all hang out. Thankfully, those days are over. My sweetheart has a lovely, funny, patient way of drawing me out and it was the singular impression of our meeting- the feeling of having been SEEN- that told me he was surely the one.). What if my thoughts are really not so special afterall? August 29, 2011 at 10:44 PM.

Standing naked in a picture window is a scary thought. Kind of like blogging. Thursday, September 1, 2011. Como si dice "uncertain"? For all the effort we spend as adults trying to be in the moment, our biggest challenge then. Was to have a perspective on things that surpassed our present experience. Now that we know first-hand "real" adult worries, who doesn't rue how much energy was wasted "stressing out" in college over things that seemed so important then- life-altering, even, in magnitude?

Standing naked in a picture window is a scary thought. Kind of like blogging. Sunday, September 18, 2011. The other night, we were half way into a Larry Sanders Show when something called to mind Long Duck Dong. (In our house, LDD can always be counted on to inspire a series of guilty giggles. When faced with a dilemma, we often ask ourselves "What would The Donger do? Before we knew it, it was queued up on Netflix on the Wii. I think I have a healthy appreciation for the gray areas in life but I can fal...

Standing naked in a picture window is a scary thought. Kind of like blogging. Thursday, September 8, 2011. Manifesto sounds funny when you say it enough. Maybe that's what happened to the 's' key on my laptop? This morning I was poking around a friend's blogroll. I don't like the way that sounds, but I don't name these things. I clicked over to one and stumbled upon Nicole's Manifesto. She has a list of 100 people she wants to have lunch with before she turns 30, which is a very long way away in 2015.

My example, unfortunately, is to stop baking anything that can't be popped into our oversized toaster oven and make a big joke out of why the real oven is still broken after 25 months. I'm not sure who benefits from my example. August 15, 2012 at 8:43 AM. Questions, comments, violent dissent? Sometimes I feel like this.

I agree….it was so much simpler to use technology back in the 90s-technology evolved more slowly…heck, everything did! I did some work with students today, and two students pulled out ipad IIs…they could do everything we did (no flash on quizlet.com)…it was awesome! Can’t wait to try out ipads for all in class 😉. Sunday, March 14, 2010. I've neglected this space for a while, so let me catch up:. 1 I have a new horse named Music Man. Photos to follow. 2 Kody is doing well. His feet problems turned quite serious but he has found good work as a trail horse, and is happy. 3 We're buying our own farm (shown above)! Number 3 was particularly fun considering a previous post here about not wanting our own horse place. We've changed our mind, though my original cost estimates were right on the money. Monday, August 20, 2012. Acts 5:27-32 - We Must Obey God. Peter says, "We must obey God." How would my life be different if I followed these simple words? Although I claim to be a follower of Christ, am I really obeying God in all that I do? Unfortunately, the short answer is no. All too often I let myself be carried away by things that I think I need. My current "need" is an iPhone, because my current Android phone is old and incredibly slow! Tuesday, July 24, 2012. I often find myself surprised when Go...
