There are only so many hikes and backpacks you can do inside of the national parks with a dog. truly, most national parks have a "six feet from car rule" for dogs. that is, dogs are allowed anywhere a car is allowed with an additional six feet for a leash. being dog owners, we would like to continue to visit our beloved parks with townsend. Brooke was bummed he couldn't join them for their tour, but was excited to play with them during one of their shows out here. In concert. Check them out. They're awesome. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. I had an opportunity to take a trip to India with a group of 10 people who I didn't really know. Seems like my cup of tea! We left Wed. March 3, and made it to Chennai late Friday night]. This is the train we would be traveling in for the next 14 hours to Visakhapatnam, India, where we will be working for the next 7 days. Monday, July 11, 2011. Athabasca Falls and Columbia Icefields - Jasper, Alberta, Canada. From Jasper, we headed south down the Icefields Parkway. This road was littered with glaciers! First stop though, Athabasca Falls. Brooke checking the view from the roof of the car. Yep, the view is good. They have markers out to show the ice melt over the years. The closet mark was 2008, and was still 50-75 yards away from the icefield! Even though it looks like pavement, Brooke is on Columbia Icefield! Angel Glacie...
