When we first bought this house on Putnam Avenue the owner sat on the stoop everyday for over a week. It's like he didn't want to leave. We tried to avoid any drama but eventually we had to confront the former owner. We asked him when he intended on vacating the premises. By the end of the week he was gone. Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Demo of Kitchen Wall. In our house there was a partial wall around the kitchen area. The wall made the kitchen into a galley kitchen which was small and not user friendly. The plan was to remove the wall and put an island in to open the room up and since the wall didn't go all the way to the ceiling it was easy to remove it. Well sort of. Cementing over the new piping. Sunday, March 9, 2014. I haven't posted in a while, but I do have an update. We were able to put in wood laminate in our dining and living rooms, so I wanted to post a few pictures. We had the same friend who did our tile come and put the floors in. We also decided to change the kitchen and dining room wall color to a light green. We're quite happy with the results!
